I’m Courtney, a passionate writer and editor
About me
I fell in love with writing when I was little, and I haven’t been able to put the pen down since.
I’ve dabbled in pretty much everything from the highly uneventful autobiography I wrote when I was 10 to poetry, and in more recent years, short stories and flash fiction.
But right now, I’m currently writing my first fantasy novel and hope to be a published author one day.
Creative writing
Wanting to develop my writing and editing skills, I got a Bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing, and a Master’s degree in Creative Writing.
In 2023, I helped to judge entires for a creative writing competition called The Watson, Little x Indie Novella Prize.
I’m also part of a monthly writing workshop with a group of other writers where I continue to practice my writing and editing skills.
Digital content
I began my career as a content writer. Over the past 8 years, I’ve written thousands of articles and other forms of digital content for a wide range of clients in different product niches, including:
- Landing pages
- Guides and blog posts
- Emails, letters, SMS
- Other app and web copy
I’ve also worked as a content designer for the past three years, focusing on understanding the end user to create content that provides solutions to their needs.
